Sunena Sohal

As a child I used to help my dad with his building projects on the weekends and I really enjoyed the hands on approach in understanding how things worked and creating nice spaces. This was one of many catalysts that initially sparked my interests in Architecture, however as I’ve grown I’ve realised architecture is much more than just nice aesthetics, I have become fascinated with functional architecture and how people interact with the spaces created in and round buildings.  I believe good architecture is functional and responds well to its context. Through my education and professional life, I have cultivated an interest in environmentally conscious design and exploring design challenges that deal with spatial and material qualities.
