Irena Dumitrascu

I wanted to pursue architecture because I loved building cardboard houses for my dolls and light them up with string lights. But that was the mind of a 10 year old. I’ve since discovered architecture to be more than just buildings. Its intimate relationship with the people that inhabit spaces is a fascinating process, unfolding on a daily basis.

Working at BPN Architects enables me to develop architecture for the learning and creative potential it offers, for the unlimited project range and for the unique context of each and every design brief. I find beauty and balance in the built environment and our power as architects is to transform cities into better, useful and playful spaces for all.
