Construction work at Overbury Church of England First School in Tewkesbury is nearly complete with just a small amount of external works and main hall left to finish. The school have already occupied part of the extension and seem to be settling in well.
Its been interesting to see that even in such a short space of time the stonework used for the external walls has begun to age – although it still has some way to go before it weathers down to match the existing Grade 2 Listed school building originally designed by Richard Norman Shaw!
The photo above taken in the new school hall shows the hidden LED lighting in the glulam ridge truss being tested.
