Work has started on site for the Sustainable Energy Centre (SEC) at Birmingham Metropolitan College’s James Watt Campus in Great Barr. Speller Metcalfe are the main contractors.
The SEC will provide a exhibition and teaching space for some of the latest sustainable technology provided by the College’s commercial partners. The SEC will also include two teaching spaces.
The SEC is due to open in September 2014.
