If you visited the recent West Midlands Built Environment & Design Fair organised by Design Environment West Midlands (DEWM) at Space2 at the Custard Factory, you may have noticed that we were exhibiting – not once, but twice! Not only were we invited by the organisers to have a stand to showcase our award-winning scheme Electric Wharf in Coventry, but we also found our way onto the RIBA stand to shout about Dartmouth Park Pavilion which starts on site later this year.
The event was the first of its kind and it was great to see lots of like-minded people from the architectural community of Birmingham along with others like MADE and RegenWM who are so important in the process of bringing quality design and regeneration to the region. It was also a chance to catch up with the latest from the Big City Plan, and meet other prominent players like English Heritage and BURA.
These sorts of events are important to the region, and highlight the positive changes taking place in the city centre and beyond. We’re looking forward to being part of the event next year.
