New Street First Class Lounge

BPN were appointed in October 2012 to assist Thomas Vale in the construction of offices and retail spaces as part of the New Street Gateway Project.

The accommodation included Ticket offices for Centro and First Class Lounge and offices for Virgin with a new temporary left luggage area.

The emphasis was on speed of delivery with a concept design being developed to suit the existing spaces within the New Street Station.

Huge site constraints in terms of existing structure and service infrastructure meant that co-ordination of the design was key to delivering the concept design and ensuring the projects success.

The projects was completed as part of the half time switchover which has allowed New Street to continue its essential services to the public.
