Birmingham City University graduate Alexander Ward is our first visiting artist of 2020.
’Kiocosa’ is a suspended sculpture constructed from identical pieces interconnected to produce a reflective mosaic.
Alexander says “An organic theme runs through the very heart of the project, much like an organism, the mosaic can grow given the space, resources and time”.
Graduating from BCU with a BA (Hons) First Class degree in Product and Furniture Design, Kiacosa was Alexander’s final major design project.
The sculpture will be exhibited at 3 Mary Street until mid-Feb.
