We will be opening our doors on Saturday 23rd July as part of the Open Studios event for the 2016 Jeweller Quarter Festival. This year, we’re inviting visitors to ‘Knock Down Brum’ as we take a tongue-in-cheek look at Birmingham’s obsession with knocking down perfectly good buildings.

We’ll be open between 11am and 4pm. Local musicians will be entertaining us with live music from 12:15, and there will be plenty of complimentary cake and refreshments. Visitors can join in a game of Rotunda Skittles, play BT Tower Swingball, or destroy a scale model of Central Library with our specially designed wrecking ball. Safety is paramount of course, so if you feel like really getting into the spirit of it, prizes are available for those who turn up in hard-hats, hi-vis and steel toe capped boots.

If you’re on Facebook, sign up for the event here. If you’re not on Facebook, just come along anyway.

We are also hosting the Jewellery Quarter Neighbourhood Plan so you can pop in and have a chat with the lovely people from the Jewellery Quarter Development Trust Neighbourhood Planning Forum. The forum is made up of local businesses and residents who volunteer their time and energy to write a Neighbourhood Plan for the Jewellery Quarter.

Find us on Mary Street, just off Caroline Street in the Jewellery Quarter (look out for our A-boards and hi-vis bunting). There’s more info about Open Studios and the Jewellery Quarter Festival over here.
