We received planning approval last week for a new Sustainable Energy Centre (SEC) at Birmingham Metropolitan College’s James Watt Campus in Great Barr. The SEC will provide the College’s students with a hands-on training facility in the latest sustainable technologies. We are also working with Samsung to incorporate state-of-the-art display screens to promote sustainable design and technology to the broader campus.
This project is part of the on-going refurbishment and improvements being made at the James Watt Campus. Future phases of work will include a new Learning Resource Centre, re-cladding of existing buildings and external landscape works.
Works are due to commence in March 2014.
