The reason for Dean (back row, far right) spending the day at Manchester City’s Eastlands Stadium last week was down to Executive Chairman Garry Cook who had organised a day of tours and meetings. He invited the committee members of the FBE’s Forum for Tomorrow (plus a few others!) to have a tour of the stadium and learn more about the history and challenges involved with the build, along with an overview of the ethos and culture of the club itself. He also invited Mark Ryder from Manchester City Council to talk about the City’s vision for the future, not just in terms of the success of their football teams, but as part of the larger development plans for the region.
Worryingly, I could have sworn I heard Dean whistling Blue Moon yesterday….
